I am a local authority 5 star rated licensed breeder of Boston Terriers, Smooth Hair Dachshunds (Both standard and miniature) and Whippets and without Janete and her team behind me I wouldn’t feel confident in doing my job. I have been using J Krumina Veterinary for almost two years now after I came to her for one of my pups needing a health certificate under the pet travel scheme due to being exported to Bermuda. After some truly awful experiences with two local vets based at Sutterton and Sleaford, I can honestly say being able to talk to Janete and being treated as an equal professional, without her ever dismissing my knowledge as a breeder, as well as being listened to, being able to ask advise and then discuss the best possible course of action is a rarity in this world of corporate vets. I simply don’t know what I would do without her and her staff, everyone is always so caring and understanding and J Krumina Veterinary is the only veterinary practice in the area who I trust implicitly with my 13 dogs and every single one of the pups I breed. Knowing I can always ask Janete for honest advise, gives me a great deal of confidence in my breeding programme. Just knowing Janete and her team are there to support me each and every time I need them enables me to do my job to the highest standard. In my professional and personal opinion J Krumina Veterinary is only vet in the Spalding /Boston and Sleaford area who is not only highly knowledgeable, but also exceptionally caring and who pride themselves on providing a very personal service. It is abundantly clear that Janete and each of her staff actually care about your animals and you, and every single staff member treat you as a valid client instead of just a number. A huge thank you from me, and all of the dogs and pups here at Mumuland Kennels and keep doing what you do as you do an amazing job each and every one of you.

From first day I went there, felt very welcome, staff friendly, Janete doing good job. After my last appoitment my thoughts is changing. As I was siting in reception waiting for my appoitment, heard shoutings on a animals in other rooms, with not the best words. That makes me worry about whats happening with my dog behind doors. After that time definately will change my vet.

After major surgery on my miniature chihuahua in an incubator then allowed her too come home as they didn’t have over night stay , didn’t give me any other option than too bring her home and within the hour my dog died . Looking at the photos I took they made a huge incision and no way was nugget going too survive without the incubator

First visit here today for my rescue Dachshund who is very nervous. Receptionist was so welcoming and supportive. Our vet was incredibly knowlegeable and thorough. We were given time to share our concerns and I felt listened to. Recommendations were made which were helpful but there was no push to buy products stocked by the vets. Genuinely felt refreshing after other experiences with bigger vet chains where I have left feeling short changed and stressed. Would highly recommend.

My dog is over 13 years old and was suffering from a serious infection that nearly cost him his life. He was prescribed antibiotics, and we were told that euthanasia might be necessary depending on how he responded. Understandably, this was an extremely worrying time for us. During the first week alone, I contacted the practice several times seeking veterinary advice, but there was never a vet available to speak to. I repeatedly requested that a vet call me back when possible. Despite this, two weeks passed without a single call back. This lack of follow-up and communication was deeply concerning, especially given the seriousness of my dog’s condition. It felt as though once payment had been taken, there was very little genuine concern for my pet’s welfare. The overall customer service was poor and dismissive, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. If you truly care about your pet and expect professional support during critical moments, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I want to warn other pet owners about my experience. I was given two conflicting medical documents for the same cat — one saying she was healthy and later another saying she had HCM. Neither document had dates, and another hospital has now confirmed she is completely healthy. During the HCM scan, there was a barking dog in the room which terrified my cat. She became so stressed afterwards that she stopped eating and drinking and needed IV fluids. My other cat Hugo also came home from this clinic with multiple skin injuries, torn skin, swollen front legs, and fluid leakage under the skin after IV fluids — and I was never informed about any of these injuries. I received no apology, only an email saying the HCM diagnosis was a “human error”. Based on my experience — inconsistent records, unsafe environment, injuries, and poor communication — I do not recommend this clinic.
