Foxhall Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned small-animal practice established in June 2007, owned by practice manager Tracy Healy. Recent reviews suggest it’s geared toward routine small-pet care (for example vaccinations) and also seeing urgent cases, with one owner saying they were seen “within a few hours” despite not being registered. Handling of anxious pets is mentioned in detail: a nervous dog was muzzled to safely complete a vaccination, then was calm enough to take treats before leaving.
Owner experiences are mixed on communication and ethics. Several reviews describe supportive end-of-life care (including a sympathy card and flower seeds), while a 1‑star review alleges an inhumane euthanasia approach and says the owner did not respond to multiple messages; another 1‑star review describes rude interactions, focus on pet insurance, and a debt-recovery threat over a small remaining balance.

PLEASE BE AWARE. FOXHALL VETS PUT MY CAT DOWN USING THE INHUMANE ONE -INJECTION APPROACH (TO SAVE TIME AN MONEY)THAT CAUSED MY CAT TO NEEDLESSLY SUFFER MOMENTS OF TERROR AS IT SAT UP STARTLED AND TERRIFIED JUST A MOMENT BEFORE IT DIED.. I WROTE TO THE OWNER OF FOXHALL TRACEY HEALEY 3 TIMES ABOUT THIS, BUT SHE DID NOT REPLY, SO I HANDED OUT LEAFLETS ABOUT FOXHALL AROUND RUSKINGTON AN OUTSIDE THEIR VETS (WHICH I CAN NOW RESUME DOING). ALSO I MADE A CASE ABOUT A FOXHALL SENIOR PROFESSIONAL TO THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF VETINARY SURGEONS FOR TURNING WILDLIFE AWAY, AND WAS TOLD SHE WOULD MOST LIKELY LOSE HER JOB BECAUSE OF SERIOUS PROFESSIONAL MALPRACTICE (THE CASE WAS SUPPORTED BY EVIDENCE FROM WILDTHINGS), BUT I HAD MERCY ON HER BECAUSE IT WAS CHRISTMAS AND DROPPED THE CASE AGAINST HER . I WOULDNT HAVE MENTIONED ANY OF THIS IN A REVIEW, BUT THEN TO TOP IT ALL, THEY ACTUALLYY THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO BAN ME FROM THEIR VETS AFTER I DROPPED THE CASE AGAINST THEM WITH THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF VETINARY SURGEONS (AND AFTER I STOPPED HANDING LEAFLETS OUT WARNING ABOUT FOXHALL AROUND THE VILLAGE) WHICH WOULD ONLY MAKE MY PETS SUFFER BY HAVING TO TRAVEL TO A VETS A GREATER DIATANCE AWAY IN A ANIMAL EMERGENCY, INCLUDING THE SICK AND INJURED WILDLIFE I OFTEN RESCUE. INSIST ON THE HUMANE 2 INJECTION APPROACH FROM FOXHAL WHEN IT TIME FOR YOUR PETS TO BE PUT DOWN. (WRITING THIS USING/UNDER MY MOTHERS NAME).

Our family has been with Foxhall for over 10 years, and love Vet Rachel! She’s incredibly experienced, kind, and genuinely caring. We can’t thank her enough for all she’s done for our pets. Highly recommend!

Wonderful service from the staff at Foxhall Vets over the ten years since we adopted Poppy. Sensitive and caring right to the end during one of the hardest times of our lives. Little touches like the card and flower seeds were very much appreciated.

Really friendly staff, decent price and they seem to have my dogs best interest at heart and not just wanting to make money.

Sadly I didn't have a very good experience here at all. I found every interaction and with all staff members to be rude, especially the vet who was taking care of my cat. There seemed to be a drive to find out if I had pet insurance, when this was confirmed suddenly my cat needed lots examinations, despite having a clean bill of health at a different vets 3 months before. After the work was completed they couldn't have been less helpful in navigating the complex world of pet insurance. Followed by a threating letter suggesting recovey action, with no prior reminders, for a balance of less than £30 on over £900 of work carried out. I left feeling like my pets best interests weren't at the centre of the service they offer here.

From not being registered with them when we first spoke, to seeing our pet was only a few hours and they were absolutely brilliant. Absolutely recommend 100%

Took my Labrador, Sully to the vet today and he became extremely anxious, something I was not expecting! He became very vocal and bordering a little aggressive. Unfortunately, as the vet was unsure of his behaviour she decided to muzzle him which did calm his behaviour and with the help of an veterinary nurse was able to take the muzzle off and give him his vaccination. By the time we left, Sully was calm and taking treats from the vet and receptionists hand. I am so grateful for their patience and understanding and would highly recommend them to anyone who has a dog with anxiety.
