My cat went in to Sutterton vets 24/9/25 for dental work but the pre-op tests highlighted other more serious issues. Adrian rang me to discuss the results, and gave me options of what we could do next with costs and possible outcomes. I wasn't pressured into doing every possible test right at the start, but 1 at a time to keep the cost down, and after each test Adrian took time to ring me and explain the results, next steps and again costs and possible outcomes. He was very compassionate and informative and most of all patient with a stressed worried cat Mummy! Adrian did everything he could to reassure me and I wasn't rushed or pressured into agreeing to any course of action but allowed me to make choices based on full information and costs. From the start of the day to the end, Rori was well looked after and I left feeling that she was in the best hands. The nurse who admitted her in the morning was wonderful as well in explaining what was going to happen and my options and took time to go through everything and not rush me! Similarly on discharge, the nurse was friendly, informative and caring. The worst bit was having to pay!!! 🤣 BUT as I was advised at each step what the costs would be, it didn't come as a shock and happy to pay it for my baby! 😻 Although no-one thanks the receptionists as they are the ones with the unfortunate job of having to take your money, the lady who dealt with me was friendly, helpful and informative and spent time sorting out and checking the medication and taking time to work out the best check-up appointment for Rori and asking advice to make sure the correct clinician was booked to save any issues later. I can't fault the service I received and thank you to the whole team at Sutterton Vets.

We cannot praise this surgery enough, for what should have been a routine operation Lily my cockerdor turned into a nightmare when she developed with a serious bleed. She had to go back into have emergency surgery to stop the bleed. She had a nurse with her at all times which we are so grateful for because our worst nightmare was for her to be on her own. The vets kept me up to date every step of the way and we brought her home the next day. Aftercare with Hannah the vet has been amazing. I cannot thank the staff enough for saving Lily and for all looking after her.

We visited the emergency service after encountering several injured wild birds, and I’m glad we did. The staff member who assisted us over the phone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival, the reception staff continued to provide excellent service.

Had to bring my dog into the hospital as she was bleeding from the mouth. Everything was really well done. The receptionist was very welcoming and personable. We were sent to a seat and within a minute the lovely female vet asked us into a consultation room. Our dog is not a fan of vets as she is really scared however the vet was very good and was able to do her preliminary examination without too much of a response. We were so impressed with them that we are taking her back tomorrow for an ultrasound scan.

I regularly visit the Sutterton branch with my dogs for multiple reasons and they’re great there. The staff are always lovely and polite especially the reception team. I have to also say the past three vets I’ve seen have been amazing, they have been genuinely caring and lovely towards my dogs including giving them a lot of attention which makes my dogs feel very reassured. I can highly recommend the vets Ashleigh, Hannah and Avodeji 🐾
